Rebalancing Empty Rebalancing

Post by StrikerUSA Wed Aug 09, 2017 6:01 pm

So been thinking about how to balance and be a bit more historically accurate. Below is some changes I've come up with that gets a little more accurate so like a 90mm gun does about the same damage through all the tiers and is balanced by reload rates and so on. Along with it they would need to make armor protection more historical too so like the B2 would take more damage than it currently does. With that in mind I made the B2 dish good damage per minute to balance it out. It's a work in progress but I think it still maintains balance pretty well while making the game seem less like random numbers thrown at the tanks.

Nice work. Right, tanks with the same gun should have the same firepower (at least in ww2 top). Reloading speed is a different story.

Yeah I think they should split the tiers with no crossovers then balance them per the tier they fight. An 88mm gun in top tier hits hard but you can't keep the same damage for the VK at tier 5 because 300 damage is way too much down there so either top tier drops a lot in damage and fire rate climbs or mid tier has a different damage value. A tier 6 can be made to have a fighting chance in top tier if it doesn't also have a chance to face tier III tanks. They need 9 tiers so it's 1-3, 4-6, then 7-9 I think would be best then each tier bracket is better balanced to what they fight.
