American Experimentals

Post by StrikerUSA on Fri Apr 14, 2017 12:53 pm

Since we got the British Experimental topic going I'm much more excited for American experimentals. I'm not a huge fan of the current setup so I think a separate Tank/TD line is the way to go.

1. T7
2. M7-57mm
3. T22 E1
4. T23 E3
5. T25 E1
6. M6A2E1
7. T30
8. T29

1. T49 GMC
2. T67 75 GMC
3. T40 76 GMC
4. T88 105 GMC
5. T53 90 GMC
6. T53 E1 90 GMC
7. M18-90
8. T28

This is an 8 tier list and I'll do a 10 tier list later which I think would look better at least for the tank line. TD line actually looks better at 8 tiers. Also T29 I think would be better than the T30 since it would have a quicker rate of fire and was faster in trials despite having less horsepower. T30 can keep it's damage per shot higher than the T29 but damage per minute would be higher on T29. Armor was identical on them both.

I would like to see some artillery in the game. It would make it interesting . Like the developers could make cover for the artillery to make them hard to see

I think artillery would do more harm than good. Instead of fixing the T30 problem you'd be expanding it by adding more units that have a serious one shot damage rate. It would also kill peekaboo and all tactics as we know it because no more taking a good hull down position artillery comes in from a different trajectory.

It can be added as a map instead of a unit haha. Battle on the Rat.

Btw did the T-28 get a speed boost or something? I've been noticing more em turning awfully quickly for a TD and it takes me a while to do so in a JT but those T-28s were turning and almost keeping up with my comet O.o.

I've always know the T28 to turn quicker than JT or Tortoise, but I haven't used one lately.

I swear it got a turn nerf a little while ago but maybe they changed it back. I did take mine out not too long ago and did well with it but never got circled.

So on FB Admin replied to someone and said the T32 is planned. That's interesting and I wonder what tier they are planning for it and will we eventually see WWII lines expanded to multiple tanks per tier or are they going up to 10 tiers.

Cool! T-32! Now I think IF they are adding the T-32 it's either replacing the M6A2E1 or it's going to tier 5! Remember, the German tier 5 is the VK, pretty much a Tiger 2!

Yeah it could sit at tier 5 or tier 9. Crazy spread on that one haha. I hope they add the T29 too and I really hope they plan on multiple tanks per tier so we can fit them all in a less than ridiculous position. That VK is real tough at tier 5 and needs some competition.
