What do you think the developers need to do to short out brigade wars

I think there should be a league or tournament in brigade wars because once a brigade gets a spot in the leaderboard it's there it doesn't more

They need to fix declaring conditions. You should be able to choose what tier or VR you want to declare in and that should be clear and mandatory, the matchmaking should not allow you to enter with higher tier or VR than the one declared.
They need to make sure active top clans don't jump on inactive ones for the points. To avoid this they need to rework the scoring. They should give 10 points for victory but 0 points if the other team did not show up, 5 for draw, 0 for defeat and -5 for no show. At the end of each month brigades with less than -100 points get disbanded.

Another way is to have +1 point for every enemy tank destroyed plus 4 points win bonus. So for killing 6 enemies in 6 vs 6 you get full 10 points, for killing 2 enemies in a 6 vs 2 you get 6 points. Flagging should get you 4 points if no enemy is killed.
When loosing getting +1 point for every enemy destroyed is only fair and will give incentive to lower clans to fight. It also gives meaning to a dogged defence. If you loose a 6 vs 6 but have destroyed 5 enemies you get 5 points! This gives points to consistent brigades.

They also should do brigade tiers after 3 monthly clan wars. You get the scoring and brigades between 100 and - 100 points get to be low tier only allowed to be attacked in low tier tanks while they are free to declare as they want.
between 100 and 5000 points they are mid table and are allowed to be attacked by mid tier tanks and everything above is top level where all is fair!

Good points MM. My biggest issue is the declaring of wars between competitive and casual brigades. You have several brigades that definitely want to be in the top 5 and others that just play for fun. Those competitive brigades should just declare on other competitive brigades, not challenge casual brigades. An easy way to address this is to only be able to declare on brigades on your ranking screen. As you move up, you can declare on newer, competitive brigades.

Very good point. That would stop trolling weak brigades by strong ones from the top of table. It requires to introduce mode of clan war : casual or tournament. Otherwise clans would have limited ability to fight with other wanted clans. But challenging only close-in-table clans would bring time zone limitation issues I guess. Another solution would be differentiation of score for win depending on opponent position in the table. The higher position in the table of opponent clan, the more points for win. It could bring more exciting moments in clan's competition due to hazardous decisions.
